(x-posting)
In the past I've had great difficulty finding good freelance/contractor help. Well, "great difficulty" is an understatement. I don't try to undercut people when it comes to rate and I don't try to drive people into the ground with round-the-clock work hours. And yet...
Can anyone recommend sources for finding EXPERIENCED, QUALITY web designers and/or developers? Places to advertise or agencies to use?
To be clear I'm looking for both a designer and a separate developer, not one person to do both jobs.
I'm looking for people who:
can work on complex, multi-site, 6 figure projects
can take direction
can meet deadlines
can work entirely remotely via internet and still be reliable
don't need to be taught on the job
are at a senior level of experience
are professional enough to have phone meetings with clients
are actually worth the rate they're asking
Not folks trying it out. Not people who claim to be a designer or developer but actually have only created 3-page sites for their local bar or band while working from their Mom's basement. Not people who need to be spoon fed and hand held. Not people who want to take my project to get experience. ;)
Suggestions are much appreciated. :)
If you have specific names/contacts please PM me the details rather than post them publicly here.
